In today's technology world, battery life is precious. Generally, Lithium-ion batteries are commonly used to power cellphones, laptops, digital cameras, and other electronic devices. Although Lithium-ion batteries have a long lifespan, they do eventually lose their ability to charge. There are some useful technics to maintain the life of your lithium-ion battery by taking good care of it. When you used a lithium-ion battery then you have charge it properly, charge them to 50% and check on them regularly(check them every 2-3 months) to make sure that they're holding their charge frequently. Here are some effective ways to keep your lithium-ion batteries healthy.
Don't Fully Drain The Battery.
Don't fully drain your battery. In Lithium-ion battery the more you drain the energy, the more stress it will have to take to fully charge the battery. So for taking the best performance of your lithium-ion battery doesn't fully drain the battery.
Follow The Product's Instructions Properly When You Charging It First Time.
Majority of the lithium-ion batteries come with pre-charged. Usually, you’ll start using them immediately and can charge the battery before it drops below 50%. To make sure your battery is properly charged read and follow the instructions which are with your product when you buy it the first time. When your battery is ready to use just make sure don't allow it to completely drain it before you charge it. Before your battery reaches 50% charge plug it up. One thing keeps in your mind carefully if you let the battery drains completely, your battery may die.
Avoid charging to 100%.
Selecting a lower float voltage can do that. Reducing the float voltage will increase cycle life and repair life at the expense of reduced battery capacity. A 100-mV to 300-mV drop by float voltage can increase cycle life from two to 5 times or more. Li-ion cobalt chemistries are more sensitive to a better float voltage than other chemistries. Li-ion phosphate cells usually have a down float voltage than the more normal Li-ion batteries.
Don't Drop or Shake Your Battery.
Be careful, don't drop or shake your battery. Your battery can discharge the power or it can suffer damage from a fall. Maintain your device carefully so you're less likely to drop it try to avoid placing your device in a location where it will vibrate. When your laptop in your car makes sure to store your laptop in front of your car, not the trunk. Don't store lithium-ion battery-powered tools in your truck bed.
Avoid to use it when it's charging.
Try to not using it charging. Maximum people have this problem they used their device when it charging. as you know before more stress for the will have to take more than the energy. Use it after full charging.
